Actor and filmmaker Bradley Cooper will share his personal experience as a working caregiver during the opening session of the Society for Human Resource Management’s annual conference next month, the organization announced Monday.
Cooper, who has received Oscar nominations for films including “A Star Is Born” and “Maestro,” will discuss how caregiving responsibilities impact the workplace as the main stage speaker at SHRM25, scheduled for June 29-July 2 in San Diego and online.
“Bradley Cooper’s extraordinary career and unwavering commitment to addressing critical social issues – such as raising mental health awareness and sharing his story as a working caregiver – resonate deeply with the core values of SHRM’s mission,” said Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., president and CEO of SHRM.
Beyond his entertainment career, Cooper established Lea Pictures in 2020, a production company focused on creating engaging films and documentaries. He also founded the One Family Foundation to support cancer patients and their families.
