Nayya has launched an AI-powered tool that aims to simplify the complex process of employee leave, from initial planning to return to work, the company announced Tuesday.

The platform, called Nayya Leave, is designed to support workers navigating parental leave, caregiving responsibilities, or serious health issues. It also gives employers a unified system to manage leave at scale, integrating with the company’s broader suite of benefits management tools.

“Employees are often forced to navigate critical life events—like illness or childbirth—by piecing together information from various HR systems, insurance providers, and government programs,” said Sina Chehrazi, co-founder and CEO of Nayya. “This moment, as your family grows and your full attention and presence are needed, shouldn’t be clouded by paperwork, uncertainty, or anxiety.”

A personalized, end-to-end experience

Nayya said Leave delivers a digital experience that adapts in real-time to each employee’s benefits, policy eligibility, and location. It includes personalized leave calendars, to-do lists, and reminders sent via email and SMS—even when employees are away from their work systems.

The system also connects with other Nayya tools, such as Choose (for benefits selection) and Claims (for processing supplemental insurance claims). That integration allows employees to receive guidance on updating coverage following life events and enables automatic mapping of medical claims data to policy benefits.

Additional features include:

  • A visual timeline outlining job protection and wage replacement details
  • Actionable checklists that track tasks and deadlines
  • Tailored insights based on individual situations and evolving policy changes

For employers, the platform aims to reduce administrative burden by synchronizing with HRIS systems and streamlining documentation related to programs such as the Family and Medical Leave Act and various state-level policies.

Addressing the benefits gap

The launch of Leave follows Nayya’s 2025 Benefits Value Gap report, which found that employers are investing significantly in benefit programs but often fall short of delivering support during high-impact events such as medical emergencies or family caregiving.

Nayya, founded in 2019, said the new platform was designed to close that gap by making the leave process more accessible and less stressful for employees, while improving management efficiency for employers.

Leave is available now to employers and benefits administrators.
