Panasonic Corporation of North America has been certified as a Great Place to Work for the fourth consecutive year, the company announced Tuesday.
The certification is based entirely on employee feedback collected through an independent survey. This year, 83% of respondents said Panasonic is a great place to work—26 percentage points higher than the average for U.S. companies, according to Great Place to Work, the organization behind the designation.
“Being recognized by Great Place to Work for four years in a row affirms the strength of our culture and the consistency of our employee experience,” said Megan Myungwon Lee, chairperson and CEO of Panasonic Corporation of North America.
Strong marks for inclusion, safety, and belonging
Survey results show high levels of employee satisfaction in key areas. Ninety-six percent of employees said Panasonic is a physically safe place to work, 90% said they felt welcomed when they joined the company, and high levels of fairness were reported across race, gender, and sexual orientation.
“These results show that our commitment to inclusion, fairness, and belonging isn’t just a statement—it’s part of our culture,” said Liz Almeida, the company’s chief human resources officer.
Recognition rooted in employee experience
Great Place to Work certification is based solely on feedback from employees about their workplace experience, including perceptions of trust, respect, and equity. According to the organization’s research, employees at certified companies are significantly more likely to look forward to work, feel fairly treated, and have confidence in their leadership.
“Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience,” said Sarah Lewis-Kulin, vice president of global recognition at Great Place to Work.
