Paychex has earned recognition as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces 2025 by Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group, marking another workplace culture achievement for the Rochester-based payroll and HR services company.
The recognition follows a comprehensive assessment that included employee interviews, company reviews, publicly accessible data, and analysis of more than 120 key performance indicators. The study incorporated more than 400,000 employee interviews and collected over 4.9 million company reviews from U.S. companies with more than 1,000 employees.
Strong employee engagement focus
Newsweek’s third annual ranking examined companies where employee engagement occurs naturally, focusing on culture, working conditions, and workplace satisfaction metrics.

The Newsweek recognition adds to Paychex’s recent workplace awards, including placement on Ethisphere’s World’s Most Ethical Companies list and Fortune’s America’s Most Innovative Companies ranking.
