The Ladies Professional Golf Association has selected UKG as its official HR, payroll, and workforce management technology provider under a multi-year deal aimed at streamlining operations and improving employee experience across its global workforce.
The LPGA will use the UKG Ready suite to manage nearly 200 employees worldwide, enabling the organization to automate core functions such as hiring, onboarding, payroll, and performance management. The move is part of a broader push to improve operational efficiency and workforce insights, said the association.
“The LPGA is proud to announce UKG as our official human resources, payroll, and workforce management technology partner,” said Liz Moore, interim LPGA commissioner. “UKG’s commitment to supporting the growth of women’s sports makes them the clear choice as our partner to support our people.”
The technology will also help the LPGA ensure compliance with labour laws and tax regulations in 29 U.S. states where employees are based. The deal includes access to AI-powered tools such as UKG Bryte for real-time workforce insights and the UKG Great Place To Work Hub for sentiment benchmarking.
Samantha Simmons, the LPGA’s chief people and internal operations officer, said the partnership reflects the organization’s focus on enhancing internal operations.
“UKG technology not only aligns with our goals of being a worldwide leader in sports and a top employer of choice, but this partnership also represents a monumental step forward in our commitment to taking care of the people who support our athletes, members, tournaments, and fans worldwide,” said Simmons.
Rachel Barger, UKG’s president of go-to-market, said the LPGA’s mission aligns with the company’s own values. “The LPGA has long been a beacon of empowerment for women in sports… and we share that same commitment to fostering environments where everyone can thrive,” she said.
UKG supports over 80,000 organizations globally and has a track record of helping professional sports teams manage mobile workforces.
