Workforce technology company UKG has appointed Jay Dettling as its inaugural chief partner officer, expanding its executive team with a focus on strengthening its global partner ecosystem.
Dettling, a veteran executive with more than 30 years of experience in leadership roles at firms including Accenture and Adobe, will report directly to UKG President, Go to Market, Rachel Barger.
“With the appointment of Jay Dettling, our inaugural chief partner officer, we’re doubling down on one of the most extensive and collaborative partner ecosystems in the industry,” said Barger. “Our partners are a vital part of our mission to provide customers with a broad range of innovative solutions.”
Expanding the UKG partner network
In his new role, Dettling will oversee UKG’s more than 350 global partners, including systems integrators, solution implementers, resellers, brokers, and technology providers. The company said the move is part of a broader strategy to ensure its partner network can help clients maximize the value of UKG’s HR, payroll, and workforce management platforms.
Dettling’s prior roles include managing director of the North American commerce practice at Accenture, where he led digital transformation efforts, and vice president of worldwide partnerships and alliances at Adobe. He also previously served as president and CEO of Ansira and most recently as CEO of Hero Digital.
Focus on integration and growth
UKG said Dettling’s appointment reflects its intent to deepen partner integration and explore new alliances that enhance customer experiences. His arrival comes as UKG continues to position its products and services as integral tools for employers managing workforce complexity and business transformation.
More than 80,000 organizations globally use UKG’s technology solutions.
