Lightfully Behavioral Health has promoted Erica Strope to chief people officer, expanding her responsibilities to include oversight of legal and corporate compliance functions in addition to leading people operations.
Strope has been with the organization since its launch in 2021 and played a central role in building its human resources function and shaping the company’s workplace culture. She previously led the development of Lightfully’s “Shine Culture,” which emphasizes values such as purpose, compassion and operational excellence.
In 2024, the company was recognized as a “Most Loved Workplace,” an accolade attributed in part to Strope’s efforts to prioritize employee experience and foster a service-oriented HR team.
“Erica has been one of the cornerstones of our leadership team from the very beginning,” said Jennifer Crute (Steiner), CEO of Lightfully Behavioral Health. “She brings a rare blend of courage, heart, and operational insight to everything she does.”
As chief people officer, Strope will now also lead legal and compliance teams, a move the company said aligns with its goal of growing with “integrity and care.”
Before joining Lightfully, Strope held HR leadership roles at several behavioral healthcare firms. She holds a business administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and was named to the Triangle Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 list in 2021 for her contributions to the industry and community.
