Nonprofit technology firm Neon One has appointed Kerri Zunkowski as its new Chief People Officer, bringing in a seasoned HR executive to help scale its operations and reinforce a people-first culture as the company expands.
Zunkowski, who previously led human resources at Vixxo and Keap, joins Neon One at a time of continued growth and strategic hiring. She is reuniting with Neon One CEO Keith Reed, with whom she worked during her tenure at Keap.
“Kerri is an incredible leader who knows how to build high-performing teams that drive business success,” said Reed. “Her ability to create cultures where employees thrive will be instrumental as we continue scaling Neon One.”
Focus on leadership, engagement, and innovation
At Vixxo, Zunkowski led people strategy for a team of more than 750 employees. At Keap, she developed and implemented a company-wide leadership framework built on the principle that “everyone is a leader,” which the company credits with improving engagement and performance.
In her new role, Zunkowski will focus on leadership development, talent strategy, and maintaining a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Her mandate includes strengthening employee engagement and positioning the company as an employer of choice in the nonprofit tech sector.
“This team is passionate about its mission,” said Zunkowski. “I look forward to ensuring that our people and culture remain the foundation of our success as we grow.”
Supporting a mission-driven workplace
Headquartered in Chicago, Neon One provides software tools to support nonprofits with marketing, fundraising, operations, and financial management. The platform serves a wide range of organizations looking to build community engagement and streamline mission delivery.
The company said Zunkowski’s appointment reinforces its commitment to employee development as it continues to scale its impact and reach across the nonprofit sector.
