QVC Group has appointed Tony Williams as chief people officer, effective April 28, the company announced Tuesday.
Williams will oversee the organization’s global human resources strategy, including talent management, total rewards, people operations, and ESG efforts under the company’s “Global Impact” portfolio. He will report to Mike Fitzharris, president of QVC US Brand and chief operating officer, and serve as a strategic advisor to the executive leadership team.
“Tony has valuable hands-on leadership experience working with diverse global companies,” said Fitzharris. “I am confident that Tony’s leadership and experience will continue to elevate our People strategy and drive our business forward.”
Veteran HR leader with global experience
Williams brings more than 25 years of experience in human resources, transformation, and organizational effectiveness across multiple industries. He most recently served as senior vice-president of global HR, transformation enablement and regions at The Estée Lauder Companies, where he was responsible for people strategy across six global regions.
Before his 11-year tenure at Estée Lauder, Williams held senior HR roles at Tyco International, Remy International, and Air Products and Chemicals. He began his career at Macy’s.
According to the company, Williams has led large-scale change management initiatives aimed at improving market share and profitability while maintaining a focus on employee experience.
