Advanced Technology Services (ATS) has been named to Newsweek’s America’s Greatest Workplaces for Mental Wellbeing 2025 list, marking the second consecutive year the industrial maintenance company has received the recognition.
The annual award acknowledges employers that contribute to and enable mental wellness of their workforce.
ATS integrates mental health into its broader safety strategy as part of its approach to employee well-being, according to the company.
“Holistic well-being is a core part of our culture,” said Jim Hefti, vice president of human resources at Advanced Technology Services. “With nearly 20% of our workforce having served in the military, we know that supporting physical, emotional, and mental well-being is essential to maintaining a strong, resilient team.”
Company initiatives
The Peoria, Illinois-based firm provides various mental health resources, including a free “Learn to Live” program with digital lessons and private coaching based on therapy techniques for employees and dependents enrolled in the company medical plan.
ATS also runs the “Beyond Zero Challenge,” which incentivizes employees to prioritize health and safety, reinforcing the company’s commitment to promoting holistic well-being beyond preventing workplace injuries.
