Software development company Vention has launched a new corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, aiming to deepen its community engagement and global impact through targeted partnerships and internal initiatives.
Called Vention Impact, the program will focus on three primary areas: global hunger relief, mental health advocacy, and education for future tech leaders. The company announced formal partnerships with Action Against Hunger, Girls Who Code, and Project Healthy Minds as part of the initiative.
“Corporate social responsibility is at the heart of everything we do,” said Sergei Kovalenko, CEO and co-founder of Vention. “We’re not just software engineers — we’re ‘heartware’ engineers dedicated to making a change within our communities and for society.”
The company’s partnership with Action Against Hunger is aimed at addressing global malnutrition, while its work with Girls Who Code supports the advancement of young women in computer science. Through Project Healthy Minds, Vention is contributing to efforts to destigmatize mental health and expand access to support services.
Kovalenko said the company’s broader CSR strategy is driven by a desire to combine innovation with social responsibility. “Our focus is on meaningful actions that empower communities through supporting mental well-being, enhancing global aid, and empowering the next generation of tech leaders,” he said.
In addition to global programs, Vention is rolling out local initiatives across more than ten countries. Employees — referred to as “Ventioneers” — participate in volunteer activities and community-specific projects. Internally, the company promotes a culture of inclusion and care, and has been named a Great Place to Work for three consecutive years.
Vention, headquartered in New York, provides custom software development and AI services to startups, scale-ups, and Fortune 500 companies worldwide. The CSR initiative marks a formal expansion of its values-driven approach, positioning the firm as both a technology provider and a philanthropic actor.
